Since Its Founding In 1973, Valley Youth House Has Focused Entirely On Issues Related To The Wellbeing Of Youth In The Greater Lehigh Valley Of Pennsylvania. Programming Targets The Community Crisis Of Family Disintegration As Evidenced By Patterns Of Runaway And Homeless Youth; Physical, Emotional, And Sexual Abuse; Violent Behavior; Parent-Child Conflict; Educational Failure; Chemical Dependency; And Juvenile Delinquency. Using A Positive Youth Development Model, Therapeutic Services Are Provided In Order To Strengthen Families And Assist Youth To Grow Into Healthy And Productive Adults.
