In An Atmosphere Of Sensitivity And Through Partnership With Others, The Mission Of El Barrio Is To Empower Hispanics To Become Self-Sufficient Participants In The Broader Society While Also Preserving And Promoting Expressions Of Hispanic Arts And Culture To All In Northeast Ohio. Originally Established In 1990 As A $5,000 A Year Food Bank, El Barrio Has Grown Into A Dynamic Social Service Organization Serving Cleveland's Burgeoning Hispanic Community.
