Cluster Was Initiated In 1975 In Yonkers By Episcopalian Congregations In Westchester To Provided Needed Services Primarily For Low-Income Families. The Basic Purpose Is To Develop Programs, In Collaboration With Other Organizations Whenever Possible, That Create Hope And Empowerment, And Help People Who Are Hurting. While Cluster Still Receives Support From Many Congregations Of Different Faiths, It Is A Non-Sectarian Organization And It's Board Of Directors Includes Individuals From Many Walks Of Life.
