First Generation College Bound, Inc. (Fgcb) Is An Unique Community Initiated Program, Whose Mission Is To Increase The Participation By Low And Moderate Income Youth In Higher Education. This Is Accomplished Through An Education Community Support System That Bridges The Resources Of The Home, Church, School, And Community. Emphasis Is Placed On Early Intervention Through Academic Support, Early Identification Of Education And Career Goals, And Participation In College Access Activities. Fgcb Also Provides Opportunities For Other Communities To Replicate Its Successful Model.
