The Task Force's Mission Is To Raise The Level Of Concern And Awareness In The Community About Hiv And Its Victims, Direct And Indirect, Through Education, Testing, And Prevention Initiatives. We Recognize That Hiv/Aids Doesn?T Discriminate. For Those Already Infected, We Pledge Ourselves To Act As A Source Of Physical And Emotional Support Through Programs Which Provide Assistance With Day To Day Needs Like Transportation To Doctor?S Appointments And Stores To Financial Assistance With Medications, Utility Bills And Housing Costs When Other Options Aren?T Possible. We Further Pledge To Address The Social, Spiritual And Educational Needs Of Our Community Through Activities To Enhance The Quality Of Life Like Support Groups Where Real Life Concerns Can Be Shared, Online Forums Where Issues Can Be Discussed Without Need For Disclosure And Access To Information On Latest Treatments And Programs By Providing A Gateway To Current Materials On The Internet And In Our Office For Clients And Other Concerned Individuals.
