Boulder Housing Coalition, Also Known As "Bohoco" Emerged Out Of Citizen Efforts To Make Cooperative Living In The City Of Boulder A Legal Option Via A City Cooperative Housing Ordinance. Bohoco Works To Help People Who Want To Use The Ordinance And To Help People Who Are Living Cooperatively Have A Voice In City Planning Issues. A Major Focus Of Bohoco Is To Work With Existing Housing Stock To Create Permanently Affordable Cooperative Housing. Cooperative Housing With Its Collective Ownership Is A Step Between Being A Renter And Being A Single Family Home Owner.
