Yccc Was Founded By A Group Of Parents Who Wanted A Home-Like Environment For Their Young Adult Children Who Had Been Diagnosed With Mental Illness Too Severe To Be Cared For At Home. The Services Developed By Yccc Have Become A Statewide Model Of Mental Health Care. It Is Estimated That One In Ten Families Will Be Touched By A Form Of Mental Illness. Today, Yccc Continues To Develop Innovative Services In Response To Community Need.
