The Volunteer Center Of Riverside County Is A Private Non-Profit Organization Founded In 1966 Through The Joint Efforts Of The Junior League And The Then United Fund. A Board Of Directors Meeting 10 Times A Year Governs The Volunteer Center, Which Serves All Of Riverside County And Currently Manages The Additional Programs: Helpline Crisis/Suicide Intervention, Inform Riverside County Information And Referral; The Alternative Sentencing Program; Transportation Access Program (Tap); Senior Ombudsman Services; Housing Counseling Program, Post Assistance Self Sufficiency, Alliance For Families In Transition And Volunteer Connection.
