Our Mission Is To Provide Quality And Compassionate Services For The Survival, Health, And Independence Of Seniors Living In Poverty. Since 1970, Senior Community Centers Has Been The Leading Provider Of Services That Meet The Basic Needs Of The Low-Income, At-Risk Seniors Living In San Diego's Urban Core, And The Only Organization In San Diego, And One Of The Few In The State And Country That Provides Such A Broad Base Of Vital Services To This Vulnerable Senior Population. Through Our Continuum Of Care Network Of Programs, We Serve Nearly 3,000 Unduplicated Clients A Year By Providing Balanced Congregate And Home-Delivered Meals, Nutrition And Health Education, Healthcare And Social Services, Mental Health Services, Entitlement And Legal Counseling, Case Management, Transitional Housing, And Permanent, Affordable Supportive Housing. Each Program Plays A Critical Role In The Survival, Health, And Independence Of Seniors Living In Poverty.
