The San Francisco Food Bank's Mission Is To End Hunger In San Francisco And Marin. The Food Bank Was Incorporated As A Nonprofit Agency In 1987 And Has Since Become Our City's Most Recognizable Anti-Hunger Organization. Led By Paul Ash, The Executive Director Since 1989, We Are Committed To Our Community.As San Francisco's Only Food Bank And The Largest Distributor Of Food To Agencies Serving The Poor In San Francisco, We Currently Provide Food To Over 400 Non-Profit Partners. The Food Bank Is A Member Of Feeding America, A Nationwide Network Of Food Banks, And Cooperates On Fundraising, Food Sourcing And Food Drives With Both National And Regional Collaborations. The Food Bank Is Staffed By 84 Employees And Over 21,000 Volunteers Who Contribute More Than 102,000 Hours Per Year.
