Home And Community's Message Is That Community Is Not Just A Place -- It Is Home. The Organization Was Founded To Serve As A Clearinghouse Of Information For Those Interested In That Message And In The Implementation Of Models For Meaningful Participation. Our Clients Are Low-Income Residents And Their Allies Who Want To Build Stable And Improved Communities And Who Are Mobilizing To Bring "Home" Back To Their Communities. We Work To Insure That Residents Play An Integral Part In Shaping Initial Policy Debates Around Housing And Community Development And In The Development Of Affordable Housing. In Addition, We Are Working On Assisting Residents In Bringing And Gaining Access To Green Building And Other Technologies At Their Developments And Communities.
