Desertstar Was Founded In 1999 By Parents (Nami Members) Of Mentally Ill Adults, Siblings, Friends And Mentally Ill Persons Who Desired Safe Affordable Housing For Their Loved Ones Who Were Low Income And On Ssi Or Sdi. In Addition To Housing, Desertstar Plans On Having A Rehabilitation "Fountain House Clubhouse" For Persons With Mental Disabilities Who Live In The Entire Community. Social, Recreational, Educational And Vocational Training Will Be Provided At Our Clubhouse.
