Community Awareness And Treatment Services Is The First Step Of Getting People At Risk Off The Streets. Incorporated In 1978 To Provide A Continuum Of Care For People With Substance Abuse Problems, Cats' Focus Is On The "Hardest To Serve" Homeless, Those Who Are Dually Diagnosed With Addiction, Physical Disabilities, Mental Illness, Domestic Violence, Veterans, Hiv+/Aids, And Transgenders. Our Nine Unique Programs, From Our Transportation And Outreach Vans, Drop-In Centers And Shelters, Through Transitional Housing, Substance Abuse Treatment And Supportive Housing, Serve 6,000 Homeless Men And Women Each Year. Cats Works To Promote Positive Change And Reduce Street Deaths.
